    This is a vintage (circa 1860) CDV portrait of
    Dr. John Porter
    of
    Wenham, Massachusetts
    . A note on the back reads, "Lizzie Tilton their daughter", referring to Elizabeth Porter Tilton, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Porter. John Porter was born in 1799 and died in 1866, and is buried in Wenham Cemetery.
