    Description

    A rare and beautiful green glass Gorham perfume bottle with silver decorative overlay.  In pristine condition.  No scratches, dents or other blemishes.  The silver is bright and untarnished.
    An inscription of "D1863" can be found on one of the silver scrolls (see photo) and on the glass bottom, the number "497" is etched in.
    If the inscription is a date it might have been made, then it is an early Art Nouveau piece.  The Art Nouveau period is generally thought to be from 1890 and 1910, according to Wikipedia.
