Here is a Starrett No. 917 automotive service set that is in such great condition that I want to call it new. This American made set of tools is immaculate with barely a scratch on anything. If these tools were used they were used very carefully by someone who took great care of them. This set includes a No. 224 outside micrometer with locking device that measures from 2" to 6" with 4 standards and 4 interchangeable anvils; a No. 124 inside micrometer that measures from 2" to 8"; a No. 452B cylinder gage with locking mechanism; and a No. 172B thickness gage; 3 adjusting wrenchs; and a whole handful of original paperwork. The wooden protective box has done an excellent job of protecting these tools. It has a few minor cosmetic imperfections suffered from doing its job. This box looks great, opens and closes easily, latches shut nicely, and holds these tools securely. It will continue to this set for years to come.
