Starrett No. 436 - 11" to 12" micrometer - .001" 11" - 12"

Here is a Starrett No. 436 - 11" to 12" outside  micrometer that is in very good condition. It has been used so you will find a some cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. Some of these imperfections are that the previous owner scribed some of his/her favorite numbers on both sides of this micrometer. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice used micrometer. The thimble spins easily without any hesitations. Smooth! The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. This micrometer is still very accurate as well. This is demonstrated by Starrett standard in the last photo. This standard is not included. The cardboard protective box has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. It has some scratches, scuffs, and other minor imperfections suffered from doing its job. It is still solid and will continue to protect your micrometer for many years to come.  Please take a look at all of the photos as they can help in describing the item better than I can.
