Antique Pre 1891 S. KUNDE & SOHN DRESDON 23D11 GRAFTING/BUDDING FOLDING KNIFE

Description

Here is a very nice pre-1891 S. Kunde & Sohn model 23D11 grafting and budding folding knife. Exceptional condition for its age and usage. The blade is a little worn down but not much. No bad rusting only the
faintest
peppering and discoloration from use. The wood handles are tight, the spring is very strong and firmly holds the blade in both the open and closed position.
Amazingly
there is no wiggle in the open or closed position. Heavy brass liners and pins. The knife is clean and sharp. It would make for a conversation piece as an every day carry.
Later examples of this knife made after 1891 into the 1990's would have - made in Germany stamped - on the back side of the blade and have steel liners. 4.3" closed length, 6.8" open length.
